Our Story

How Orbyn came to be

Orbyn was established in Bangkok by a small team of advisors who had spent years working within large consulting structures and, over time, found that the most meaningful work happened in closer, more candid partnerships with clients. The practice was founded with a deliberate focus — rather than attempting to cover the full spectrum of business advisory, Orbyn concentrates on three areas where clear thinking and careful communication tend to have the highest impact: stakeholder relations, strategic direction, and board-level governance.

Our clients are typically organisations at a turning point. That might mean a family-owned business preparing for generational transition, a regional subsidiary navigating new market conditions, or a growing company whose governance structures have not kept pace with its operations. In each case, the work begins with careful listening — understanding the actual situation rather than fitting it to a predetermined framework.

Orbyn operates from an office on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok, and we work across Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian region. Our team communicates in both English and Thai, and our deliverables are adapted to the language and format that serves each client best.
